Wearing Your Corset
ParisNicolle corsets arrive fully laced for your convenience.
- Loosen the back laces before putting on the corset.
- Unhook the front busk closure.
- Wrap the corset around your waist and re-hook the front busk.
- Tighten the laces gradually, starting from the top and bottom and working toward the center loops.
- Adjust the corset evenly to ensure a comfortable and secure fit.
Corsets are designed to shape and support the waist while enhancing your natural curves. Do not attempt to excessively tighten the rib cage or hip area, as this may damage the garment or cause discomfort.
For best results, "season" your corset by wearing it gradually during the first 5–10 uses. This allows the corset to mold to your body safely and comfortably.
While tightening, raise your arms and gently move your torso to help the corset settle into position. Always lace evenly from top to bottom to maximize comfort and extend the life of your garment.
Corset Care & Cleaning
After removing your corset, hang it by the laces over a hanger or chair to allow it to air out properly.
To clean your corset:
- Spot clean only using a mild detergent.
- Fabric fresheners may be used as needed.
- Professional dry cleaning is recommended for frequent wear.
Do Not:
- Machine wash
- Machine dry
- Soak in water
- Use bleach or harsh chemicals
Doing so may damage the fabric, bend the steel boning, or cause rusting of metal components.
For added comfort and to help keep your corset fresh, we recommend wearing a lightweight camisole or tank top underneath.
You may replace the corset laces with another style or color if desired.
ParisNicolle Waist Trainer Care Instructions
Sizing Information
ParisNicolle waist trainers are constructed with two layers of latex and are designed to provide firm compression.
- For the tightest fit, order according to your fitted shirt size.
- If you carry excess weight in the abdominal area, we recommend following our size chart.
- If you fall between sizes, order one size up.
Do not order based on the size you want to be. Order based on your current measurements for the best fit and results.
Cleaning Your Waist Trainer
To maintain the quality and longevity of your waist trainer:
- Hand wash only using mild soap such as Dawn® or Dial®.
- Air dry completely before wearing again.
- Wash at least twice per week to remove sweat and body oils.
Sweat and moisture can cause latex to deteriorate over time.
If you plan to wear your waist trainer daily and during exercise, we recommend purchasing two garments and alternating them to extend their lifespan.
